(Note: At the bank there is a batch job that is run (streamed) once a day. This is "JUPDATE". It was vital that this was only run once a day. This is the warning not to run it twice.).
In our computer outfit an incident occurred,
and I'm going to recite it, just in case you havn't heard.
For this story is a warning, and it's message is not nice.
It's about the Operator who streamed JUPDATE twice.
What happened to the C.P.U. is a story on it's own,
But this is about the Operator and his broken collar-bone,
and his cracked ribs and broken jaw and of how he tore his clothes.
and how we found him lying there, a write permit ring up his nose.
All around his body mag tape had been entwined,
then connected to the tape drive, someone had pressed REWIND,
After many weeks had passed he was missing, presumed dead,
but ever since this happened our printer prints out red,
So if in the computer room at night you hear a noise that might be mice,
It'll be the ghost of the Operator who STREAMED JUPDATE TWICE!
